This non-mainstream village tour invites you to slow down and enjoy the peaceful rural atmosphere of Central Java while riding comfortably on a wooden cart pulled by gentle cows. The tour offers a nostalgic glimpse into traditional transportation once widely used by local communities.
During the 2–3 hour journey, you will pass through lush rice fields with stunning views of Mount Merapi, visit cultural heritage sites such as Plaosan or Sojiwan Temple, observe daily village activities, and stop by a local UMKM (home industry) to see traditional food production. You will also enjoy a short gamelan session, where you can witness or try playing traditional Javanese musical instruments.
