Help & FAQ
How ReadyTrip works — booking, tickets, payments, cancellations and date changes, Points and eSIMs. Can't find your answer? Contact us — we're on WhatsApp, phone and email around the clock.
Booking an activity
How do I book an activity on ReadyTrip?
Open the activity page, pick your date, choose an option, set how many tickets you need and press Continue. Log in if you haven't already, then on the review page add any traveller details the operator asks for, apply a promo code or Points if you have them, and pay. Your booking reference and confirmation email arrive straight away.
What do the "Transport included", "Meals not included" chips mean?
They are a quick summary of what each option comes with — transport or hotel pickup, meals, a guide, and entry fees — read from the operator's own inclusion lists. Green means included, grey means not included, and "varies by option" means it depends on which option you pick. Tap Full option details on any option for the complete list, which is always the final word.
Do I need an account to book?
Yes, and it takes seconds: sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, with Google, or with an email and password. Your tickets, receipts and Points then live in one place under My bookings.
Can I book for someone else?
Yes. Book under your own account and enter the traveller's details where the checkout asks for them (some operators need each guest's name or passport number). The ticket is emailed to you and saved in My bookings — forward it to the traveller.
Can I book for today or tomorrow?
Often, yes — the date picker only offers dates the operator can still sell. Some activities must be booked at least a day ahead, and time-slot activities can sell out for the day; if a date is unavailable the picker tells you before you pay.
Tickets and vouchers
When do I get my ticket?
Your booking confirmation arrives the moment payment goes through. The e-ticket itself usually follows within minutes; a few operators issue tickets in their own systems and can take a little longer, and we email you the moment it is ready. You can always check the status and download the ticket from My bookings. Not seen it? Check your spam folder first, then contact us with your booking reference.
Do I need to print my ticket?
Usually no — show the ticket on your phone at the entrance. If a specific operator needs a printout or a photo ID for the lead traveller, it says so on the ticket and in the option details.
Where do I find my ticket, voucher and receipt?
In My bookings: open the booking to download the ticket or voucher PDF and the payment receipt. The confirmation and ticket emails link straight to the same booking page.
Can I change the name on a ticket?
Usually no — tickets cannot be edited once issued. If the booking is still inside its free-cancellation window, cancel it from My bookings and rebook with the right details. Otherwise contact us with the booking reference and the correction; we will ask the operator, but a change is not guaranteed.
Is my ticket fixed to a date?
Yes for most activities — the ticket is issued for the visit date (and time slot, where you picked one) chosen at booking. Where an option is open-dated, its validity period is shown in the option details and on the ticket.
Payments and currency
How can I pay?
By credit or debit card through Stripe, in the currency shown at checkout. In India you can also pay in ₹ INR by UPI, netbanking or an Indian card through PayU — the option appears at checkout when it is available. ReadyTrip Points can cover part or all of an order (see the Points section below). Card payments are processed by Stripe or PayU; we never see or store your full card number.
Which currency am I charged in?
The currency you see at checkout. Prices are set in US dollars and converted at the current rate; the amount shown at checkout is the amount charged. If you pay through PayU, PayU's own page shows the exact ₹ INR amount before you confirm. Your bank may add its own foreign-transaction fee.
Why does my statement say "Travel Pass Inc"?
That's us. ReadyTrip is the brand name of Travel Pass Inc, the company that runs the site — the amount on your statement matches your booking total.
My payment failed but money left my account. What now?
If we did not receive a matching payment, no booking is made and the amount is released back to you by your bank or payment provider — usually within a few working days. If it has not returned within 10–15 working days, contact us with the booking reference and payment details and we will chase it.
Cancellations, refunds and date changes
Can I cancel my booking?
It depends on the option you booked. Many offer free cancellation up to a cut-off — shown as an exact date and time (local to the activity) at checkout and on your booking page — while some tickets are non-refundable. Free-cancellation windows close at 00:00 (midnight), destination local time, on the cut-off day. Full details in our cancellation & refund policy.
How do I cancel?
Open My bookings, select the booking and press Cancel booking. You see the exact refund amount before you confirm, and you can choose to take it as instant ReadyTrip Points or back to your original payment method. If the Cancel button is not shown, the window has passed, the ticket is non-refundable, or the ticket has already been issued — in that last case contact us inside the window and we cancel it for you.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds are initiated from our side immediately on approval. Depending on your bank and payment method, the money can take up to 10–15 working days to appear on your original payment method. Refunds taken as ReadyTrip Points are available instantly. Refunds always go back to the payment method you used, never to a different account.
Can I change the date of my booking?
Date changes are not automatic — they depend on the operator. Email [email protected] from the address you booked with, quoting your booking reference and the new date (and time slot) you would like, and we will ask the operator. Changes are subject to their approval and availability, so we cannot guarantee one; if the operator declines, your booking's normal cancellation terms apply. Where the operator charges a fee or a price difference, we confirm it with you before anything is changed.
What if the operator cancels or the attraction is closed?
You get a full refund, whatever the ticket's normal cancellation rule says, or you can rebook where an alternative is offered. We notify you using the contact details on your booking as soon as we know.
Account and login
How do I log in?
Enter your email and we send you a one-time code — type it in and you are signed in, no password needed. You can also continue with Google, or set a password if you prefer one. Forgot your password? Use the reset link on the login page.
I didn't get my login code.
Check your spam folder and that the email address is typed correctly. Codes expire after a few minutes, so request a fresh one if it has been a while — and wait a moment before requesting again, as repeated requests are paused briefly for security.
How do I see my bookings?
Sign in and open My bookings. Every activity and eSIM you have bought is there with its status, ticket, receipt and — where still available — the cancellation option.
How do I delete my account or my data?
From your account profile you can request deletion, or you can email [email protected]. Bookings we must keep for tax and legal reasons are retained for the period set out in our privacy policy; everything else is removed.
Points, referrals and promo codes
How do promo codes work?
Enter the code on the review page before you pay and the discount shows on your total straight away. Each code has its own conditions — a minimum spend, specific activities, first order only — listed with the code on our Deals page. Codes cannot be added after payment.
What are ReadyTrip Points and how do I use them?
Points are credit on your ReadyTrip account — earned through referrals and given as instant refunds if you choose that at cancellation. At checkout, tick Use my ReadyTrip Points to pay part or all of the order; anything left over is paid by card or UPI as usual. Your balance and history, including any expiry dates, are under Points in your account.
How does the referral programme work?
Share your personal invite link from Invite friends. Your friend gets a welcome discount on their first booking; you earn a reward in Points once their trip is confirmed and past its cancellation window.
Travel eSIMs
How do I install and activate my eSIM?
Your QR code arrives by email within minutes of payment and is saved in My bookings. While you still have Wi-Fi — ideally before you fly — scan the QR code from another screen, or add it manually in your phone's mobile-data settings. On arrival, turn the eSIM line on and enable data roaming for it; your plan starts and you are online.
Is my phone eSIM-compatible?
Most iPhones from the XS/XR onwards and recent Android flagships support eSIM, but the phone must also be carrier-unlocked. Check before you buy — eSIM plans are non-refundable once the activation code has been issued.
Can I cancel or refund an eSIM plan?
Not once the QR / activation code has been issued, which happens shortly after payment — the plan cannot be cancelled, changed or transferred. We do refund a plan that was never delivered or that is faulty on our supplier's side; see the eSIM section of our cancellation & refund policy.
Still stuck? Contact us with your booking reference and we'll sort it out. Policies in full: Cancellation & Refund, Terms, Privacy.
