Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge. A full-day hill park reached by one of the world's longest cable cars. The combo ticket — around ₫950,000 ($36) — covers the Golden Bridge, the French village, gardens and Fantasy Park rides. Go on a weekday and reach the cable car by 8 am; the bridge gets packed by 10.
My Khe Beach. A wide, clean city beach with gentle water from about March to August. Free, walkable from most beachside hotels, and lined with seafood restaurants. Swim between the flags near the lifeguard posts — currents pick up outside the calm months, and the sea in winter is for walking, not swimming.
Marble Mountains. Five limestone hills with cave pagodas and viewpoints, 15 minutes south. Entry is about ₫40,000 ($1.50), plus a small fee for the elevator up. Wear proper shoes — steps are steep and slippery.
Dragon Bridge fire show. Free, Saturday and Sunday nights at 9 pm: the dragon-shaped bridge breathes fire then sprays water. Get an east-bank spot or rooftop seat by 8:30.
Son Tra Peninsula and the Lady Buddha. A 67-metre white Buddha statue watching the bay, 20 minutes from town. Free, with the best sunset views over the city. Take a Grab bike or car up.
Asia Park and the Sun Wheel. An evening amusement park by the river with one of Asia's taller ferris wheels. Ride-inclusive tickets run roughly ₫200,000–₫300,000 ($8–$12). A relaxed two hours after dark; skip it if Ba Na's Fantasy Park already covered your ride quota.
Hoi An by evening. If your Da Nang days are full, at least do Hoi An's lantern-lit old town after 5 pm — see the Hoi An guide for tickets and boats.
