Imagine nature’s largest classroom and discovery hub, where butterflies and insects are free to come out and play. Within Entopia lies two worlds; The Natureland living outdoor gardens and The Cocoon indoor discovery centre. Over 150 species of fauna and more than 200 species of flora are being showcased throughout Entopia’s entire exhibition. Entopia is a nature discovery and exploration center located in Teluk Bahang, Penang, Malaysia. The center is dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the natural world, particularly the insects and other invertebrates that play important roles in maintaining ecological balance. Entopia is housed in a large greenhouse-like structure that spans more than 100,000 square feet. Within the center, visitors can explore a variety of exhibits and displays, including live insect displays, interactive educational exhibits, and immersive habitats that simulate different ecosystems and natural environments. One of the center's main attractions is its butterfly sanctuary, which is home to over 15,000 free-flying butterflies from more than 200 species. Visitors can stroll through the sanctuary and observe the butterflies as they flit among the flowers and foliage, or even participate in guided tours and hands-on activities. In addition to its butterfly sanctuary, Entopia also features a variety of other exhibits and attractions, including a bug exploration zone, a learning lab, a Thai water garden, and more. The center is open year-round and is a popular destination for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone interested in learning more about the amazing diversity and beauty of the natural world.
